As illustrated in the figure, it is possible to execute a keyway inside a workpiece, even without a relief groove, using the REV BROACHING TOOL. Broaching without a relief groove considerably reduces processing times. This type of processing is used when there are difficulties in executing relief grooves inside the piece or when executing relief grooves risks weakening the structure.
To broach keyways without relief grooves our company can provide specific programmes for any CNC machine currently on the market.
