BROACHING HEAD
REV offers the new broaching system. THE BROACHING HEAD.
The broaching head allows to obtain polygonal shapes (square, hexagonal, torx, torx plus, spline, gears) on blind or through holes. The processing is obtained thanks to the oscillating motion and a specific inclination of the broach holder compared to the central casing of the equipment.
The tool can be supplied with different types of machine connection.
Before the broaching procedure it is essential to create a chamfer on the pre-hole. The depth of the pre-hole is increased by: 20% -40% compared to the profile to be obtained and, if necessary, create a discharge groove to facilitate chip discharge.
